FishingIs a skill in RuneScape Classic in which players catch fish. There are many different fish to catch and there are many places where they can be found. When a player is fishing, the fish will be raw. These raw fish can be cooked using the cooking skill.
Fishing is an easy skill to understand. You catch raw fish to eventually cook for food. As your Fishing level gets higher, you will be able to catch fish more frequently and fish that will heal more when cooked.
To start Fishing you will need to find a fishing spot. They are located on rivers and on the coast. Also you will need to have the right equipment to catch the fish. If you are using a Fishing Rod you will also need fishing bait with you. If you are using a Fly Fishing Rod, you will also need Feathers with you. Nets, Harpoons, and Lobster Pots do not need Fishing Bait or Feathers to catch fish.
Fishing equipment is needed to catch fish. With different equipment you will be able to catch different fish. Remember, when you are fishing with a Fishing Rod, you also need Fishing Bait. When you are fishing With a Fly Fishing Rod, you need Feathers. You can purchase fishing equipment at the fishing shops in Port Sairm or Catherby.
When fishing with a Big Net, there is a chance to find other items as well as fish.
