LOL. I feel that the people who whine about runescape bots don't understand what they are actually doing for the runescape economy~
They whine and whine, but imagine what would happen if bots were gone? 2006- first bot nuke in runescape. I'm sure you saw how terribly the market prices fluctuated. Raws shot up and equiptment crashed.
2009/2012- second bot nuke and botany bay update. Up till now, prices still fluctuate and are unable to maintain a stable price.
Why is this so? With bots out of the game, the influx of raw materials has been greatly reduced. Simply because 'legit players' are too lazy to get their materials and simply buy them off the G.E.
If you look at it in another way, bots are the foothold of resources and are what allow us non-bot players to buy at whim from the grand exchange, at reasonable prices and without fear of our bank value dropping to 0 overnight.
In conclusion, I think that people whine about bots as they are ignorant of what they bring to runescape as a whole. Thank you~ Player from RSC
